Stage 1: Gingivitis

Stage 1 periodontal disease, or gingivitis, appears as inflamed gingiva without evidence of gum recession, bleeding or tooth mobility.


Recommended Therapy

Encourage pet owners to remove the accumulation of plaque with daily tooth brushing, dental wipes, dental chews, special dental diets and/or weekly OraVet™ plaque prevention gel applications.
